A workshop is either for experienced improvisers or for all levels.

28 August 2026 – Friday 10:00 – 13:00
This 1-day workshop (28th of August from 10:00 – 13:00 & 14:30 – 17:30) is for Experienced improvisers.
Strong, memorable characters are a joy to watch, but they can feel like hard work to play. There’s just so much to keep track of in improv – the story, the environment, the structure of the set – that it’s easy to lose track of your character, or to find yourself playing a stock caricature.
Enter the Hook and the Anchor: a simple method for creating characters that are unique and memorable, whether you’re in a grounded drama or a broad comedy. You’ll learn to link characters to your own life experience (the anchor) to give them a clear point of view, lock them in with physicality and repetition (the hook), then send them off on autopilot, freeing up your own brain to connect with your scene partners and discover the moment.
The workshop comes together with a showcase called The Matchmaker, where lonely characters meet a magical Matchmaker, who has the ability to connect them with someone who will play an inevitably important role in their life, may that be friendship, professional, romantic or otherwise. In the show we’ll see how their future plays out.

This 2-day workshop (28th & 29th of August from 10:00 – 13:00 & 14:30 – 17:30) is for Experienced improvisers.
In The Pods, a group of marriage-hopefuls embark on a series of dates to propose. They date without ever having seen each other!
During the 2 days we’ll focus on playing realistic characters who earnestly want to get married. We’ll develop our characters’ wants and motivations and practice honest reactions to our fellow players’ advancements.
How do we hold our characters and play them with sincerity? How do we draw on our own lives to ensure characters have depth and meaning? The answers are in the workshop. The result is an hour-long showcase where love will prevail!
The 2-day workshop comes together with a showcase called The Pods. The pods are equipped with a wall that separates the daters, allowing them to focus on what is said rather than what is seen.. Borrowing from a popular dating show, this improvised format follows the lovebirds on their dating expedition. The audience plays matchmaker and chooses the characters they want to see, date and ultimately get engaged.

The level of this workshop is for All Levels improvisors.
Improvisers often go into scenes under pressure to be funny and end up tightened up, filled with chaotic energy and meandering from one tangent to the next.
In this workshop, we will focus on being present and attentive to when you strike your “gold” and mining it. You’d be surprised how often players skate by it. In search of the funny, we miss the fun right in front of us. No more!

Heroes get the opening numbers, but the villains get the best numbers.
From the theatrical madness of Ursula to the sultry jazz of Scar, villain songs anchor the emotional peaks of classic animated storytelling.
This workshop is for musical improvisers who want to stop playing the sidekick and start dominating the stage. During the workshop, you improvisors:
- Improvise a “I am” Song: Deliver a powerful, character-defining anthem that explains the villain’s worldview.
- Find the Comedic Defect: Mix terrifying stakes with absolute absurdity.
- Deconstruct the Anti-Hero: Sing from the perspective of the misunderstood outcast who believes they are the hero of the whole story.
Playing a villain is incredibly freeing for performers. Using the familiar framework of Disney movies, improvisers can safely push their creative boundaries.

Don’t make it personal, don’t build a relationship and whatever happens: no conflict! Wonder what to do then? Come to this workshop and find out the magic of scenes about nothing.
Scenes about nothing are wonderful palette cleansers in a busy show. In this workshop, I’ll give you the 3 factors that make scenes about nothing some of the most entertaining scenes around.

Let’s have a chat with your inner ensemble. What if your inner critic, your perfectionist, your people-pleaser—could all become your best scene partners?
In this workshop, we combine improv theatre with Voice Dialogue to explore your inner cast of characters.
Voice Dialogue is a psychological approach that views personality as composed of multiple inner “voices” or selves, such as the perfectionist, the pleaser, and the inner critic. By exploring these voices, you will discover hidden sides of yourself, allowing you to play beyond your default behaviours and bring greater authenticity and range to your performance.

The level of this workshop is for Experienced improvisers.
Every conflict follows a pattern. In real life, we unconsciously move between three roles: victim, persecutor, rescuer. But on stage? That’s where things get interesting.
This workshop uses the Drama Triangle (Stephen Karpman’s theory) to show you how to play these archetypes and fully indulge in them consciously: the the-whole-world-is-against-me victim, the everything-is-always-your-fault persecutor, and the let-me-fix-that-for-you rescuer.
You’ll gain insight into why these patterns are so compelling, and how to use them to create scenes that audiences can’t look away from.
Using exercises focused on connection, getting out of your head, and making bold choices, this workshop aims to help you embrace the vulnerability that comes with being fully present and yourself onstage. This skill makes you an excellent scene partner and someone the audience can’t help but enjoy watching.
What if you could play anyone? Status could be a key to this freedom.
This workshop is all about playing with status to make your scenes more dynamic. In it, you’ll learn to go with your second (or even third) instinct to create surprising scenes that keep you and your scene partner engaged and on their toes. You will also master the art of giving and taking, learning how to read the room, and listening to the subtext of the scene.

In this workshop, we’ll dive into the game of the scene—the core comedic pattern that makes us lean in and laugh.
Through playful exercises and scene work, we’ll sharpen our ability to recognize the funny, explore and support it as an ensemble, and escalate it to its fullest potential. Get ready to build scenes that grow organically, captivate audiences, and reach new comedic heights.

What if you don’t?
This workshop invites you to switch off autopilot and stop rescuing the scene from discomfort. Stay with it a little longer. Make the less obvious choice. Give silence and space to work. Follow what feels charged instead of smoothing it away.
Not every moment needs to be solved. Some need to be followed.
Expect a warm, playful, and slightly challenging workshop in which creative discomfort becomes a route to more layered characters, sharper relationships, and scenes that surprise you.

What happens when object work doesn’t exactly go the way you thought it would? You thought you were making a cup of tea but your body decided to stir a little too grandiose and it turned into a witch soup? In this workshop, we will discover what happens when we follow the physical fun in improv and let the object work/miming decide in scenes. Heavily based on physical theater principles of following your instincts combined with improv fun.
*Please come dressed in comfortable clothes in which you can move easily in because we will be rolling around on the floor!
